It can be so frustrating cutting wrapping paper, esp. he’s never wrapped gifts/presents since I’ve know him, so he has no idea what I go through, he’s a gift bag type. My husband will say “why the beep did I(me)buy this” □ well. That problem may go away as I get more used to it. Fortunately, usage was obvious, so I didn't need to read. I've reached the bifocal age but even with glasses, the instructions are hard to read. One is the size of the font on the instructions. There are only two SLIGHT problems that I've noticed and neither of them is serious. Not anymore! This thing cuts through relatively thick cardboard like butter. Thicker cardboard will succumb to a utility knife but it's a pain in the a** and I always worry about slipping and cutting the hand that's holding the cardboard. Thin cardboard can be hand torn, but paper cuts are a risk. It got so bad that I'd put off cutting it up until it became unsightly. Since deciding YEARS ago to be a recycler, I have struggled with cardboard. They love it so much so that I am going to order a few more as stocking stuffers and one more for me.This is a "fresh out of the box" review so my opinion MIGHT change with time, but.
